Bob Marley - No Woman No Cry
Notes:
The first CD by Sigma Delta fratority had two versions. The one shown above
was the final released version after a small confrontation with some creative forecs who shall remain nameless.
The main difference between the tracklistings was the original version
featured "dirtier" songs. The more watered down version was given out at the Beta Zeta rush after several "Dirty Copies" of
the CD were already gobbled up by Lewis Students. Sigma Delta currently does not have any actual copies of the "dirty" version
left, nor can give an accurate track listing. In the end, it did not matter as many songs featured on sequel CDs were the
lost tracks from this CD.
The covers shown as well as the sound mixing were done by
Jake Sanders (Beta Beta) and Nick Prohl (Alpha Omega).
Recently, the original CD was remastered with track fades and new sound
quality, so this gem would not be lost.

| Knuckles and Yay Yay |
_____
Who are Knuckles and Yay Yay?
Jake Sanders (Beta Beta) proposed that Sigma Delta have an animal mascot.
After debate, the chosen icon was the Moose. It was named "Knuckles" after Jonah Schneider (Alpha Omega) had recently
punched a hole in wall which gave him "bloody knuckles". A female character was added named YAY YAY which is what we screamed
out around this time in loud obnoxious voices. While Knuckles still is shown in his stoic pose seen on the cover to your right
from time to time, his "Joe Camel" look-a-like above has since been retired. Yay Yay took up gambling and has not been seen
since 2003.
Why is THE DRINKING SONG by MOXY FRUVOUS
on every damn CD???
Brendan Oprzedek (Alpha Omega) introduced a track called "The
Drinking Song" to the group in the Fall of 1998. The song is by Moxy Fruvous (A Canadian based folk
music band).
It has since become an anthem of sorts for the membership of
Sigma Delta which is sung at most of our events. The song also caught on with members of the past when it was sung at the
end of our 30th Anniversary celebration in 2002.
Since introducing the Sound System CDs, the track has been
put on every disc (with the exception of the GHETTO series) near the end to cap off the disc. It can be heard in our HISTORY section playing in the background. It has a special place in our
hearts now, so we make sure that all future generations of our group can hear it for years to come.
