10/31/2006 - SIGMA DELTA WELCOMES
the NEWEST MEMBER -
Jose L. of the BETA RHO CLASS
Jose "F-Bomb" L. of the Beta Rho pledge class has successfully completed the pledge period of Sigma Delta and will receive
all rights due to him. After the start of this Fall's pledge period, Jose, who had come to over 4 rushes in the
past few years, was the last man left standing and went through over 2 weeks of pledging by himself... a feat
only accomplished a handful of times in Sigma Delta's 34 year history.
Jose has been honored the best pledge award, not strictly for his solo effort, but for showing determination and dedication
to Sigma Delta throughout the semester.
Congratulations Jose!
Welcome to the family!

8/22/2006 - FEAR & LOATHING VII - CAMPING TRIP DRAWS OVER TWENTY SIG DELTS!
Camping has never been so much fun. The 7th Annual Camping trip drew its largest number yet by having over 20 Actives
and Alums attend at least Part or all of Sigma Delta's 4 day retreat in the woods. This adult event which features laziness
in the woods can only be attended by Sigma Deltas and features all the tourist traps one can hope for in the fine city of
Wisconsin Dells.
Long time Alum from the Alpha Omega class Jonah "Boner" Schneider made the trek up to Baraboo, Wisconsin to attend his
5th camping trip in a row. He was quoted as saying " I wouldn't miss this for the world... Sometimes the cucumbers just taste
better pickled... huh... wha?"
FEAR & LOATHING VIII is scheduled for August of 2007.
Contact us at sigmadelta.org for more details leading up to the 35th anniversary.

6/24/2006 - Lewis Homecoming brings back Alumni
On Satrurday, June 24th, Sigma Delta Fratority set up a small both on the university campus greens outside of the Sancta
Alberta chapel and greeted Lewis Alums as they returned home for a weekend of festivities.
Sigma Delta's from as far back as the Zeta Class and Eta Class attended the weekend and took some nice photos with the
current roster in attendance.
Sigma Delta used this unique oppurtunity to announce that we have finally started to get the 35th Anniversary planning
underway and have finally established our very own website.
"We hope to get 250+ members to come home for the big bash on Nov. 2nd, 2007." said Advisor Alison Prohl
The Homecoming weekend featured several festive things to do, and had a grand finale with a huge fireworks presentation
and the "Buckinghams" playing some vintage classic rock, right on the University Greens.
Sigma Delta thanks the national Alumni Board of Lewis University for this unique oppurtunity to greet several Lewis Alum.

Sigma Delta's seventh annual camping trip (members only) open to both Actives and Alum is quickly becoming filled up.

5/31/2006 - Honorary Members Named to Sigma Delta
Terri Jones & Phil Jones, the parents of recently graduated member Christy Jones Beta Mu have
been named as the newest Honorary Members of Sigma Delta Fratority.
Teri "Ms. Demeanor" Jones and
Phil "Dr.Jones" Jones were named as Honoraries to the Beta Pi pledge class of the Spring 2006 semester due to
their countless hours and support for Sigma Delta's current active members.
Unfortunately however, we recently lost Mr. Jones to a hard fought battle with cancer. Our prayers go
out to the Jones' family. It was in his honor that Sigma Delta walked in the "Relay for Life" program held at Lewis University's
field house March 24-25 2006.
We again would like to take take this oppurtunity to say thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Jones who have given so much support
to the Sigma Delta family.
We are proud to give you our letters.
